The Method

How We Investigate

Every case follows the same six steps, in the same order — the same discipline for a Main Street landmark as for a family's living room. Skepticism is part of the method, not the enemy of it.

  1. Initial Consultation

    It starts with listening. A detailed conversation about what has been experienced, the property's background, and your concerns — so we arrive prepared, with the right equipment and the right questions.

  2. Historical Research

    Before any visit, we go to the record: property histories, prior owners and occupants, newspaper archives, and any documented events that might explain — or deepen — the story.

  3. Baseline Documentation

    We measure the location on its own terms first — electromagnetic readings, temperature, humidity, and sound levels, along with the drafts, wiring, and settling that produce false positives.

  4. Active Investigation

    Then the lights go down. Systematic sweeps of the location, careful documentation of anything anomalous, and controlled communication sessions in the areas of reported activity.

  5. Evidence Analysis

    Everything captured — audio, video, sensor data — is reviewed afterward by more than one set of eyes and ears. Anything with a plausible natural explanation is set aside; only what survives review is kept, and it is graded honestly.

  6. The Report

    We bring the findings back in plain language: what we found, what we ruled out, what we could not explain, and what we recommend next. Nothing embellished — that promise is the whole point.

Published Field Report

Haunted Beyond Belief

A written account from an active private-property investigation, published with the owners' permission and with every identifying detail withheld.

Within minutes of setup, our team observed sustained EMF meter activity that appeared to rise and fall in response to our presence. During a spirit-box session, multiple voices came through in rapid succession; some seemed playful, while another delivered language the team understood as directly hostile.

A trigger music box — designed to sound only when its sensor beam is interrupted — activated repeatedly. The team had used the same device on prior investigations without a single activation. On this night, it sounded again and again in the area under observation.

Time allowed us to investigate only two of the six areas identified during planning. We left with more questions than answers and four areas still unexamined.

Privacy is part of the promise. At the property owners' request, their identities, the location, the type of property, and every potentially identifying detail remain confidential.
